Making French tutoring accessible for every learner.

Winny French was founded to support students and families by making French tutoring more accessible. Our mission is simple: to provide affordable, high-quality language support outside the classroom, while creating meaningful employment for university students as tutors.

With classes starting at just $25 an hour, what began as a small initiative to give back has grown into a nation-wide service, helping learners across Canada strengthen their French, from core French and immersion in school to DELF, TEF, and TCF exam preparation for older students and adults.

A nonprofit built to give back

Winny French for Kids is a federally registered Canadian nonprofit, Corporations Canada number 1687619-6. Keeping lessons affordable and paying student tutors fairly are part of why we exist, not an afterthought. Every class is taught online by a high-achieving university student or native speaker who still remembers what it feels like to get stuck, and how good it feels when someone helps you finally get it.

How we help

• DELF, DELF Junior, TEF, TCF, and TCF Canada exam preparation
• Adult and newcomer French for work, confidence, and immigration
• Small group classes of up to three learners, or one-on-one
